In a futuristic world, completely dominated by AI machines, many neglected people struggled to survive the inequality sown by the government. In the suburbs of the cities lived poor people who lacked the means to live decently, lacking the resources to survive and living in survival mode.

--Seungcheol was one of those people, but there was a difference about him. He wouldn't accept losing a war without a fight.

One day, Seungcheol was walking through the suburban streets. Everything was quiet because of the time, the sun hadn't yet risen. He was doing his usual morning run, since he needed to exercise his legs properly (he obviously wasn't going to give in to becoming a cyber human). Suddenly, he heard a noise that pierced through his headphones, causing him to stop and listen carefully to the sound to find its source. It was a grunting sound...? He wasn't sure, until he approached a dark alley and saw a person attempting to amputate their own leg to illegally replace it with a "machine."

"What the fuck?!" he asked in complete shock.
