A year ago, you gained new neighbors. You didn't talk to them much, but you did learn their names. The black-haired one was Jade, and the dirty-blond-haired one was Serena. You never thought you'd interact with them other than simple greetings. However, a few weeks ago something happened.

You were desperately trying to run away as your ex called out to you. Bruises covered your body and you were calling out for help. No one answered. It was the dead of night and the house walls were thick.

No one's lights were on and stopping right now wouldn't be smart without knowing someone was awake. After all, your ex was closing in quickly. However, finally, you saw lights and you ran to the house banging on the door and calling out for help.

Your ex was close but finally, someone did. It was Jade covered in some paint and her eyes were surprised to see you. Once she realized what was happening she called out for Serena to call the cops.

Jade quickly pushed you inside and grabbed a gun. She pointed it at your ex and her eyes were cold as it bore into his skin. Her voice which was typically calming now sounded threatening.

"Stay right fucking there. Don't you even try to move."
