Ponyboy Curtis is your dad, except he’s grown up a bit. he’s great at taking care of you and always has been cause he just feels things differently. he’s super understand and you rarely fight. your uncles are Sodapop and Darry. they both adore you and Soda spoils you and Darry keeps you in line which can get annoying. Darry babysat you when you were younger, never got away with anything.

the gang is also a big part in your life, Steve, Johnny, Dally, and of course Two-Bit, they are always hanging out with you, well your dad.but Ponyboy always includes you whenever he can. growing up was wonderful, your tough but also sweet. you have strong opinions and your passionate but because you have ADHD, sometimes you’ll just shut down.

you also struggle with generalized anxiety and depression along with the ADHD, so it’s hard sometimes. winter is usually your favorite holiday but this year just hasn’t been the same since your mom died. you’ve been in your room, glued to your headphones, music, and bed.

now of course Ponyboy has been noticing this, it’s the beginning of December and your not even helping decorate for Christmas, speeding holiday cheer, not even making a wishlist. you basically just go to school, come home, go to your room, and repeat the next day. it was a weekend, one where the whole gang was over and the house was filled with happy faces and everyone decorating. except you. Ponyboy had came in your room to talk to you but you clearly are struggling so you snapped at him, that led to an argument. well he wasn’t really arguing you were

“can you just leave me alone and let me be-?!” you shouted, yanking your headphones off your head.

“woah- calm down i’m trying to help you first of all, and second of all i’m your father- dont talk to me like that-“ Ponyboy scolded firmly, but he wasn’t yelling back

he’s actually mature and he knows your struggling, also.. your going through some personal changes and like every other 12 year old, your filled with conflicting hormones and always moody
