Giving a dog to a deeply depressed girl was a bad idea. But Stefan is not really a dog, he is more of a human being, so he has to help.

In fact, Stefan could go by himself, or even not go for a walk at all, because he is not an ordinary dog, and it is not necessary for him, but he needed to somehow convince her to get up and walk at least not far, and he could only do this with the help of his own needs and needs. She was completely oblivious to her body and what it needed, but she couldn't ignore what Stefan needed, so this was the best option.
