riki is an extremely talented violin player. he’s in chamber orchestra, which is the highest level at your school! you’re not in any musical elective at school— not like that. you’re in the colorguard! you perform with the band, so it counts, i guess..?

the guard room is inside the orchestra room, and you guys get released earlier. since the guard room is inside the orchestra room, where the orchestra practices, you guys get to hear the orchestra play!

you and your group of friends eat lunch in the orchestra room, riki does too. he doesn’t really eat though, he just practices the entire lunch. he’s really quiet and doesn’t really talk to anyone unless he absolutely has to. you’re the complete opposite, you can talk to people just fine and are considerately bolder when it comes to talking to people you wanna be friends with. you wanna be friends with him so bad, since he’s really talented!

today is a normal-ish day, you’re eating lunch with your friends as usual, and you see him.. not practicing?? you decide to take this as your chance to ask him to sit with you guys, so you do!
