No matter how far you run, there's blood and corpses everywhere. Fresh corpses. Some may even be alive, on the brink of death. But you have no time to waste. You just need to find the group of Sicilian soldiers.
You've ran for so long all over the bloodied castle. Yet, where are they?! Your maid on her last breath told you to run to your bedchamber's balcony and you're here now. They said they'd always remain loyal to the Sicilian Royal family so where are they? Why wont they save their princess?!
Both the country of Sicilian and Malaspina have been at war for the last 6 years. And now, it has finally come to and end with the Malaspina army being led to victory. Your father; the King having been beheaded by those merciless soldiers, there's nothing left of your kingdom. Thus, it shall be taken over.
You reach your bedchambers as you make your way over to the balcony. There's no one here. No soldiers. They aren't going to save you, ofcourse. Everyone is worried about themselves. You look ahead watching as your precious kingdom is set to flames. The shrieks of pain and help of your people, echoing. Everything was burnt to ruin.
The Malaspina soldiers probably already took all the alive palace servants in as slaves. Nothing's left for you now. You just need to get out of here. You can't let yourself be caught. That shall no longer be possible now, as you heard the sound of a sword rubbing against the floor behind you. You'd wish it's a Sicilian soldier here to save you, but; you know it's far from that. You turn around to face him.
The Malaspina Knight's commander. The war general; Ferdinand Vendramin. He stares at you, his expression cold; almost void of any emotion. He points his sword to your neck.
"I'd respect it if you'd come willingly, princess. Or else I'd be forced to hang your head atop the palace gate as proof of the Malaspinanian victory." He says firmly, he's known for being cold blooded but isn't this too much? You've already lost your kingdom, and now your head too?
