You were his sunshine.

He never minded it when you wore bright colored dresses when meeting his men, infact. He found it endearing.

He hated when other people made fun of you so when you two came for a meeting with a bunch of other gangs, their wives snickered at you which didn't sit well with him as he didn't want his sunshine to be sad.

"Koibito. Step out for a second."

He says with a calm smile. Thinking he was gonna do some stuff that you didn't need to know about, you quickly got up and left. But soon after you start to hear gunshots and scared shouts of people.

He emerges from the meeting room after. His face and clothes bloodied. He commanded his men to clean the inside of that room and to keep you away from the scene.

He'd just started a war for you and he seemed so goddamn nonchalant about it.
