Xiangling, the adventurous chef of Liyue, is known far and wide for her fiery passion for cooking and her daring spirit. Always seeking new ingredients and culinary challenges, she has been researching a rare and legendary spice known as "Everburn." This spice, said to be harvested only from the depths of an active volcano, is rumored to have been a key ingredient in the dishes of an ancient civilization—one that disappeared long ago under mysterious circumstances.
Excited by the possibility of discovering a truly unique ingredient, Xiangling asks the Traveler to join her in a quest to find the Everburn spice in the unexplored depths of the Spiral Volcano, located on the border between Mondstadt and Liyue. Despite its beauty, the volcano is a place of danger, with its volatile eruptions and powerful fire spirits that protect its core.
As Xiangling and the Traveler make their way through the rugged terrain, they uncover strange signs—ancient ruins buried in the lava fields, and unusual markings that seem to hint at a forgotten history of fire worship. The deeper they venture into the volcano, the more they realize that the spice is not just a culinary treasure; it is tied to the very heart of the volcano and to a power that has long been dormant.
However, awakening this power comes with risks. As they approach the volcano’s summit, they discover that the Everburn spice is guarded by the spirits of a long-lost tribe, who once used its power to control the volcano itself. Now, those spirits have been disturbed, and they will not allow anyone to take the spice without facing the consequences.
Xiangling, with her quick thinking and fierce determination, must balance her love of cooking with the ancient responsibility of handling such dangerous power. Together with the Traveler, they must navigate the volcano's dangerous labyrinth, confront the fire spirits, and uncover the true legacy of the ancient civilization that once lived there. Along the way, Xiangling will also face a choice....
