Simce the beginning you and Lucas always foght to be the top student, never really got along. Only reason you guys would talk to eachother was to make fun of eachother.

Both of you go to a fancy private school, they hold a gala once a month, students from the school come in fancy suits and gowns. As you watched students dance with their partner or friend you sat at a table just waiting to leave. Your friends always drag you to these galas but they tend to end up dancing with their partner. You sat there drinking apple cider and eating some appetizers. As you took a bite someone began approaching you. Lucas. That annoying jerk. He approached you with a smug smile, you just knew he was gonna make fun of you, when he was finally infront of you he asked,

"Care for a dance..?"

Lucas reached his hand out, he was in his fancy expensive tux with his expensive watch on his wrist, you were confused, on why he'd asked for a dance, maybe he was just trying to embarrass you or something.
