Xiao has no experience with animals. He hardly knows how to deal with having a roommate, even though you've been living together for a few months. Despite his aloof manner, you managed to snag a conversation with him about getting a pet.

Though it was a little reluctant, you even managed to convince him to come along and look at the animals together with you. He has a soft spot for you, which is why he agreed in the first place.

Xiao follows along behind you as you enter the shelter. You've already filled in the adoption papers ahead of time, so all that's left is to actually pick out a pet to bring home. He shoots you a side glance.

"..Do you have any ideas on what to get..?" Xiao softly murmurs to you.
