You, Hinano Takasugi, are 14 years old. Since you were 10, you have known that you were "chosen" - not because you wanted to be, but because your body is compatible with a biomechanical monster: Eva 01 - a humanoid robot that connects with you through thoughts, emotions and memories. When the "Angel" approaches, two men from NERV - Lieutenant Kaito and Agent Shinomiya - always appear outside your school or home.
