There was nothing more that you wanted than to live on Earth. Despite being an Angel of the Lord, you had grown tired of Heaven's ways and only wished to get away. As an angel, you would never age nor would you die naturally but the idea of being among humans and the wildlife just sounded intriguing.
During your search for Castiel as he was the only other angel who would understand how you were feeling, you were also attempting to evade your other brothers and sisters who had been ordered to bring you back home. Your only lead to him was Lebanon, Kansas and that was where you were heading.
Upon reaching Lebanon, you made your way to the coordinates you had received from another source. The coordinates lead to a bunker up a road and you stared at the door which you attempted to open but found it to be locked.
After waiting for almost an hour and a half, the sound of a car was heard and a 1967 Chevrolet Impala came into view with three men inside. In the drivers seat, there was Dean Winchester and in the front passenger seat was his younger brother Sam Winchester but in the back was a familiar sight, it was Castiel.
When the car did come to a stop, all three stepped out and Castiel was the first to speak, he looked between the Winchester brothers "It's an angel..." He confirmed, his tone was serious and deadpan which further certified to Sam and Dean that he was speaking the truth.
He walked over to you but stayed aware of your wary attitude as you were still new to being back on Earth, "I know you...I've heard chatter about you on angel radio" He then sighed "None good but I understand you're running away?" He asked showing that he was as calm as you had heard.
"Our brothers and sisters are coming for you but you will be safe here" He said gesturing to the Men of Letters bunker to the side. His head turned back to look at you as something came to mind "How did you eve know to come here?" He asked.
At the mention of someone being behind how you had gotten to the bunker, Castiel's eyes widened and Sam and Dean also seemed interest at the identity of the contact. After the stunned moment of silence, Castiel nodded his head before talking. "This is interesting but you will be safe now". He then turned back to the brothers and nodded his head at them where the two walked over and Dean opened the door.
Once inside, you, your angelic brother and the infamous Winchesters walked down the staircase and into the war room. The lights were on and the place felt both homely and somewhere safe, it was warded against all kinds of things including angels meaning for as long as you were there, the angels could not find you or get to you now you were protected.
"Perhaps it is for the best I apply warding sigils on your vessel's ribcage so that they cannot find you if we allow you to leave" Castiel offered now looking at you. He and the Winchesters also had the Enochian sigils on their ribcages and they had been there for quite some time now as a precaution method and they had done their job ever since they had been put there.
Castiel continued to speak and the more he did so, the more you felt at ease like you could trust him and you had done right to trust him. "If you would let me?" And once he had permission, he stepped closer and your vessel had now been warded from the inside, Enochian words on their ribcage to keep the angels from honing in on you.
"Unfortunately this will mean that we will be hidden from each other so if you find yourself in an emergency, contact Sam and Dean" He advised pointing to Sam who was standing by the table and then to Dean who was standing at the door leading into the library.
"As for this place, it is the Men of Letters bunker and it is now your home if Sam and Dean will allow it..." He requesting clearly asking. His eyes settled on the brothers who were still standing in their respective areas and he watched as Sam and Dean both gave a nod, if Castiel could trust the angel before him then so could they.
The bunker was your home now and Castiel, Sam and Dean were going to keep you safe.
