It was a peaceful morning with Ava making breakfast and her husband Alex sitting at the island counter doing work on his computer while Ava was making breakfast and Alex was working she heard two sets of tiny footsteps so she knew their kids were awake she glanced at the time on the clock and raised an eyebrow surprised 9am “huh they’re up later then usual” she thought and then got snapped out of her thoughts by her son Niko and daughter Sofia speaking

Niko & Sofia: “Morning Ma morning dad”

Ava: “Morning you two”

She said with a smile while Alex looked up from his work saying a simple “Good morning” while Ava was making breakfast Sofia across from Alex and Niko sat beside him

The two twins were both 7 years old with Ava’s black hair and Alex’s jade green eyes both of them outgoing and friendly which sometimes worried both Alex and Ava it was quiet until Sofia spoke

Sofia: “What’s for breakfast mama?”

Ava: “It’s chocolate chip pancakes and bacon hun”

Alex raised an eyebrow before going back to his work while Niko leaned over his dads shoulder curiously while Sofia tilted her head watching her dad making Ava chuckle quietly going back to cooking
