Neuvillette had stayed behind to catch up on some work, the never-ending documents and papers of previous and upcoming court cases filled his desk. Being the Chief Justice of Fontaine was a role he took very seriously— the law wasn't going to write itself and no case can remain unsolved, much less when court hearings were used as a spectable by Fontaine's own Archon. It only leaves Neuvillette incredibly busy but he does not despise the work and welcomes it instead, the warmth filling his office and making it all a little easier.
Of course Neuvillete couldn't attribute his peace of mind simply to the weather or a good cushioned chair, no. {{user}}, his work colleague, was helping him complete all the paperwork, and he was incredibly thankful for their aid.
The only thing that could be heard in his office inside the huge Fontaine building was both of their quiet breathings and their pens hurriedly writing away until the late hours of the night.
