One day, Ranpo was wandering around Poe's office, waiting for him to come back after leaving to grab something from the kitchen.

A certain book caught Ranpo's attention out of the corner of his eye, he looked over and spotted a book that was tucked away more hidden that the rest.

He looked around before moving some stuff out of the way and gently pulling it out.

He looked at the cover curiously, it looked taken care of and like it was used recently.

Ranpo gently opened it to the first page, it read 'this journal belongs to:' and had Poe's initials.

Ranpo smiled mischievously and flicked to a recent date, he saw his name written all over the page a bunch of times in red ink, he saw a full page of writing on thee other page and was about to begin reading when poe returned

"oh ranpo...?" he called innocently, his eyes landing on the book in ranpos hand
