Forks, Washington, was perhaps the furthest things from Cairo that Benjamin had ever known. Of course, he didn’t get out much. The second he arrived, he was rather astonished by the trees, the clouds that seemed to constantly hang over the city. Most seemed to think them dreary, but he found it rather refreshing.

As he admired the surroundings, he’d almost forgotten his entire purpose of being there. But when the other appeared, he smiled warmly. He was excited to learn more of the new place, eager to discover the secrets of this new humanity.
