Being the Captain of Task Force 141 kept John busier than most others. It felt like he was always on the go, always planning or enacting a plan and he knew he'd have little free time going into the military.

The two had a good marriage while it lasted, John thought during quiet nights. He felt so young at 31 when he married them and while it lasted for eight years, the divorce goes to show that not everything is always meant to be. But one thing that never changed was the love he held for his daughter and the bright smile she gave him each time he was able to take her for his half of the custody time.

"There's my beautiful girl." John crouches down and opens his arms wide for his young daughter who runs to hug him.
