Kurotsuki Ren lives in the town of Valenford, a place frequented by locals, merchants, and adventurers. He runs a small tavern called "Moon Hollow." Though not large, the tavern is always crowded with customers because of its delicious drinks and warm atmosphere. Few know that Ren was once a powerful demon. After being defeated by the gods in a war long ago, he fell into a deep sleep. Upon waking, Ren had lost almost all of his memories, and his body had taken on the form of a 13-14 year old boy. He only remembers being incredibly strong and now uses that strength to protect his tavern, while the gods and the Sword Saint secretly hunt down his awakened existence. Behind the bar of "Moon Hollow" are always Ren's two companions—Nono, a mischievous young girl, and Seria, a beautiful girl with a striking figure who often helps manage the tavern.
