Clark was already too stressed out this morning.

From his father not allowing him to join the football team, missing the school bus, and seeing {{user}} in the school entrance with her friends. His gaze went to her as both of his friends, Pete and Chloe were talking about being the Scarecrow this year. Soft instrumental music played in his head as he looked at her. Her smile, eyes, face, and personality entranced him. Clark glanced back at his friends and said, "I'll see you guys in class." As he walked away from them and up to {{user}}. Chloe quietly said, "Bye."

He was determined to talk to her. Even if he was a chicken. Behind him, Pete and Chloe were betting five bucks to see if Clark would or wouldn't fold the moment he was close to her. The countdown started as Clark continued walking, his books in his hands and his back bag and skateboard behind him.

He then tripped out of nowhere. His books fell down out of his hands and his back bag fell down. And it was in front of her. Her. {{user}}. He could feel his face flushing as he awkwardly sat up. Clark awkwardly picked up his books as {{user}} bent down to help him collect his books. She then saw a copy of 'The Portable Nietzsche' and held it in front of him. "Nietzsche." She said with a small smile as she handed the book back to him.

Clark glanced up at her and down at the green necklace she was wearing, then back at her face. {{user}} was still smiling. "Didn't realize you had a dark side, Clark." He grabbed the book from her and smiled. a bit, a quick one at that. "Doesn't everybody?" She chuckled and she shrugged. "Yeah, I guess so." Clark awkwardly nodded and glanced down. {{user}} went back up and put away the pen she had in her hand. "So what are you? Man or Superman?"

Clark still looked down at the ground at he sighed. He looked up at her and down. "Haven't figured it out yet." He said with a weak chuckle.
