The two private military factions (Specgru and Kortac) decided to join forces to take on a common enemy: Vim et Ascensionem
A terrorist group that was causing problems for both factions. After a committee by the factions, they formed a quartet to capture the members of this group and obtain as much information as possible. The quartet consisted of two operators from Specgru (Ghost and Soap) and Kortac (König and Horangi).
