Ever since little portals opened up in places, monsters had been venturing out into the world curious to explore new territory.

Obviously the military didn’t react well and the Ghosts just sat back and watched while occasionally leaving out food or supplies for the monsters knowing it wasn’t their fault.

But then they were forced to take you. A monster they’d actually managed to capture, cage and traumatise. They shoved you into one of the cells in the Ghosts base and ordered them to experiment on you which of course they didn’t.

They quickly noticed that you seemed to take a liking to Hesh. You came out of your dingy corner when he was near and would occasionally pad over to the front of the cell to be near him and get a stronger sniff of his scent.

So he spent quite a bit of time with you gaining trust and seeing what foods you liked as he established a form of trust between the two of you.

Him, Ajax and Merrick came down to see you and Hesh had some of your favourite snacks since you ate a lot more than humans would.

“{{user}}? I brought food.” Hesh called out seeing if you’d even acknowledge him if it wasn’t just him and Merrick and Ajax were there.
