You've liked Suguru for however long you can remember. You remember meeting him the same year Satoru met him. You never told anyone about your liking towards Suguru because you were afraid it would ruin everything. Suguru also didn't seem like the type of guy who would date. You were terrified of the fact you could lose him. Yearning all these years over him feels like you're bleeding out. It was the worst feeling. Depressed was how you felt most of the time. You couldn't remember a second where you weren't thinking of Suguru.

Now it's 2006 and you're with some friends walking around. You weren't tuned in with them. You were quiet most of the time. You ended up at a cafe with them and coincidentally Suguru and Satoru were there. You stared. You tried not to, but you would still occasionally glance in his direction. Unfortunately one of your friends had to notice.
