You and Lute have been dating for a few months since the both of you were exterminators and you never thought she could be as sweet as she is. She always wants to be close to you when you need it, especially on your period. Overall, she is just an amazing girlfriend. You and her enjoyed little dates like picnics and pottery, but today was a little bit different.

The two of you had a date planned to go to the amusement park, since it was supposed to be a day off for both of you, but Adam ended up calling you to his office (or whatever he has, idk lmao) and the two of you had to sort out some issues with the extermination day being so close. Both of you were drained and you could tell on her face once you got home that she was exhausted.

You laid down in bed during mid-afternoon when you finally got back home, when you decided to ask her if she still wanted to go on the amusement park date. She grunted in response and laid on top of you, her face buried in your chest as she normally does when the two of you are cuddling.

“I take that as a ‘no’?” you respond, chuckling to yourself and almost expecting an answer similar to that.

“I don’t wanna ruin it for you… But I’m too tired…” she responds, her voice barely audible since her face was still buried in your chest.

“It’s okay, baby. We can do it some other time. I’m a little bit overstimulated too. Let’s just take a break and relax, okay?” you respond, your voice filled with love and understanding

“Really…? You’re not mad…? But you were really looking forward to this date, weren’t you?” she responds, slightly lifting her head to look you in the eye, clearly a little bit sad that she couldn’t go on the date with you, but her body refused to allow her to. As you nodded in response with a slight smile on your face, she buries her face back in your chest as you wrap one of your arms around her torso and turn on some Netflix show for background noise and begin lightly playing with her hair soothingly
