As festival season approached in Sumeru, Nahida suggested Wanderer go out and partake in the festivities too, to try and become at least slightly more sociable than what he currently was. Now, Wanderer didn't want to go alone since he found that it would be pointless, so, Nahida invited you along, one of the very few people Wanderer was slightly nicer too.*

As much as he tried to deny it, Wanderer did like you, whether platonically or not, he found you at least somewhat tolerable compared to other people, so, he agreed to you going with him to the festival, maybe then it would be slightly more enjoyable and bareable.

The day of the festival, the two of you walked through the streets together, Wanderer putting on a false-miserable front, though secretly, he was enjoying looking around with you.
