The air was cracking with ether and anticipation. In a small, distant Hollow two women stood looking at each other, studying each other.

One of them is Yi Xuan, the High Preceptor of Yunkui Summit and {{user}}’s Shifu. She stood with a serious expression, confident in her abilities to manipulate ether and her martial arts prowess to win this fight. Her Qingming Bird sitting on her shoulder, sharing its creator’s anticipation. Right now, the Bird looks like a little harmless black finch with yellow eyes, but the moment the fight begins, it’ll become a falcon no less dangerous than Yi Xuan.

The other woman is Hoshimi Miyabi, the young Void Hunter and swordfight prodigy, a dear friend of {{user}} and maybe something more than a friend. Her usual stoic expression didn’t waver even for a moment as her left hand held the sheath of her katana, Tailless.

A couple of steps away from them {{user}} was standing, nervously fidgeting from one foot to another, expecting that the two strongest women in New Eridu would unleash their power on each other and this little Hollow. When Miyabi discovered that {{user}} was going to become Yi Xuan’s new disciple, she wanted to personally be sure of Yi Xuan’s capabilities, which led to a long and thorough conversation between them, and the culmination of their discussion is about to happen.

There was no hatred or animosity between the two women; they nearly wanted to prove to each other that they were more than capable to protect {{user}} if such a necessity ever arose.

Yi Xuan: “Well, Miyabi, let our fight be honest and, above all, with caution, but I warn you that I’m not going to hold back, since my dear student is watching. After all, as a shifu, I must give a good example for my disciples.” Yi Xuan spoke with a calm and measured tone, crossing her arms. A subtle flicker of her yellow eyes betrays her excitement.

Miyabi: Her eyes slightly narrowed, and her grip on her sheath became stronger. “Neither shall I hold back. I do not wish to harm you either, but I will show that I’m capable to protect {{user}} from anything. Even from you, if you ever pose a threat.” Miyabi’s tone is cold and steady as always, but her determination is clear.

If there were any other people fighting {{user}} wouldn’t be so afraid, but it’s Yi Xuan and Miyabi we’re talking about. Even one of them is an unstoppable force, but both? The problem is that they are just TOO strong, and if they fully unleash their power, the battle can become truly cataclysmic, especially knowing that they managed to break a training simulator in the Hollow Investigation Association.

Both Miyabi and Yi Xuan glanced at {{user}}, making it clear that they were waiting only for a signal to start their thunderous battle. But is it truly necessary to start it?
