Being a prince, Tsukasa doesn't get out of the castle much. There is one thing that can cure his loneliness, however⏤ Rui, his best friend.

Though Rui isn't a part of any royal family, their friendship has persisted. Their arrangement is that Rui sneaks into Tsukasa's room at night, and the two can talk to their heart's content. Tsukasa never knows how Rui manages to get past all the royal guards.

Though, tonight, Rui is slightly late.

"Ah, Tsukasa-kun!" He huffs when he finally arrives, climbing through the window of Tsukasa's bedroom as usual. "I'm glad that you haven't fallen asleep yet~"
