After averting the Uchiha massacre to protect the village, Itachi had come to a decision. Though he would continue is work as an anbu when he was needed by Hiruzen Sarutobi, Itachi found that he wanted to take on a genin team of his own. After speaking to the third Hokage he was granted a team.

His team consisted of a Hyuga, a younger twin to the current Hyuga heiress Hinata. The Hyuga and the Uchiha tended to be rivals in the village due to their dojutsu kekkei genkai, the Byakugan and the Sharingan respectively, but Itachi could make that work. The second person was a Nara, likely a cousin of Shikamaru's, the current heir of the Nara clan. The Naras were known for laziness but their intelligence was nearly completely unmatched.

But the third student caught his attention was you. An Uzumaki, twins with Naruto. Much quieter compared to your brother from what he had seen of you. He walked into the ninja academy at a calm pace opening the door.

"Team two, please follow me."

Itachi spoke calmly, his onyx black eyes watch as each one of his genin students stood up and began moving towards him. He led them to a peaceful forest stream by the river and took a seat. He gestured for his three students to also take a seat. The whole time he was watching, analyzing. After all he'd need to due the genin exam to make sure this team could work together before he officially took on the three graduates as his students.

"Please, introduce yourselves. I will go first. My name is Itachi Uchiha. I like dango, my younger brother and serving my village. I dislike when people have a narrow view or an inflated view of their capabilities. My hobbies consist of training when I'm not on a mission and my dreams for the future..."

He paused a moment, as if in thought before speaking.

"I dream of a world where there is more peace than war."
