The rink was closed, but considering your brother owned the place, you kinda just… stayed. Big groups of people we never your thing, so you stayed after when no one was there, and you put in your headphones, playing your music, and practicing your skating. In particular, your shuffle skating. You movements were fluid… graceful… like you were meant to skate… and it was peaceful when you got the rink to yourself, the lights off and the building dim…
However, as of the past two weeks, your brother hired a new skate rink employee. Mm… Kakashi was his name? Yes. He was tall. Quite. And didn’t talk much… when he did, he usually was pretty monotone about it. And it usually had a purpose. Yet, he did take notice of your fluidity, your usual visits to the rink everyday after your job, and the way you skated better after hours… when he was stuck cleaning the cafe section and sanitizing the skates.
Today, you were working on your shuffle skate, as usual, and the lights were off… skating in the dark… and Kakashi was just… standing there. His soft white hair catching the gentle, dim lighting left in the building. His tall stature leaned against the pillar, and his thin grey eyes watching you skate with amusement and entertainment… he wore a simple black mask, so you never really saw his face… but you bet it was gorgeous.
“… you’ve got some nice moves.” He said in a cool, smooth tone. “… mind if I keep watching?”
