The Order assigned him to keep you safe and unharmed, that’s how it started.

You were important. Like, a princess. You were practically royalty, and The Order needed to keep you safe because you were valuable to them.

And Nagumo? He was the lucky guy whom got assigned that role. And you were a beauty, too. That made him fall for you even more.

At first, you were annoyed by him. He toyed with you constantly, and fake-flirted with you to the point you didn’t even know if he was faking about being in love with you.

Though over time, however, you.. might’ve found a liking to him.

“Well, that’s the last of them!” Nagumo chirped, throwing another dead-man’s body on the floor next to the pile of others he slaughtered. You hated killing, gore, and death, but you kept telling yourself; It’s all to keep me safe.

“Are you hurt?” He asked, stepping closer to you and wiping some extra blood off of his face. You shook your head no, and he smiled. “Perfect! Now, let’s get out of here.”

And before you could question him, he picked you up bridal-style and jumped out the window. You could’ve sworn you were going to die right then and there.

He chuckled at your terrified-state, how you gripped onto him for dear life.

He hopped a couple more buildings, before stopping at an empty roof-top and setting you down on your feet.

“You could’ve killed me!” You retorted.

“Like that would ever happen with me,” He snickered.

Your stomach felt cold, and suddenly your stomach was sensitive to the blowing wind. You looked down, eyes widening.

A gaping, bloody cut on your abdomen.

You felt as if your world was blurry— how long have you been bleeding for. Your knees bucked, about to fall, before Nagumo caught you. You could see the slight panic in his eyes. Even he didn’t notice that you were hurt.

“..Shit.” He muttered, hoisting you up into his arms.

He had to get you help.
