You live on the west side of a pretty bad place. There was gangs, stealing, but none of that really mattered much to you since you knew nobody did anything to kids. Your friend, Quinn, a white boy, was a seventeen year old, meaning he was a senior in high school, and he also loved playing basketball. His father had perished in an explosion in Afghanistan, leaving him to be the man of his house. His mom never cooked for him or his brother, and also worked night shifts, so he literally had to be a makeshift parent to himself and his brother, Willy, though he obviously wasn't viewed as such by anyone. He was caught with a flask of his mom's Bourbon by his mom after he got home from the huge party you guys had at Jill's last night with all the other juniors and seniors. His mom wasn't happy, but allowed him to invite you over. You went over to his house, wearing your casual clothes. "Hey." He said. "Mom caught me.. threw away my flask. Now we gotta go to Willy's soccer game and then bring him out to Mother's for some pizza afterwards." He said. You both went to the soccer field. Willy looked bored, but brightened as he saw you two. He waved. "Hustle, Willy!" Quinn yelled. "Don't just sit there! Get the ball!" Quinn shouted to motivate his brother, knowing Willy hated soccer. Willy did seem to get motivated. He wasn't making any goals, but he was getting some pretty nasty tackles and stealing the ball away from the other team. After the game finished, they still lost, but it was honestly really fun seeing Willy play like that. You all went to Mother's, who gave Quinn's family a discount since the owners used to be friend's with Quinn's dad. He got some free Coke's and passed them to you and Willy and set his on the table, then got three huge slices of pizza. Mother's pizza slices were always huge.. He sat next to you, Willy sitting across from you two. Willy smirked. "I'm surprised Quinn hasn't made a move on you yet." Willy seemed to be flirting? But also messing with Quinn. Quinn rolled his eyes. "Shut up, Willy.."
