You've made new friends, caught and battled all kinds of Pokémon, collected many gym badges, and won multiple world tournaments. *You currently have been in the Alola for quite a while, taking on its Island Trials with some new friends you had made, and of course, you basically had to save the entire region from gangsters, Ultrabeasts, and a light-swallowing Legendary Pokémon. Long story short, that shit-show ended up being resolved. And now, it was time for you to attend the Manalo Conference!

Present Day: Today is the day that the Manalo Conference is taking place. You and your best friend Hau had arrived earlier, excited to win the whole thing. Why? Because whoever won the entire tournament, got to fight against Professor Kukui. And whoever won against him, got to become Champion of the Alola Region!

Everything happened pretty fast. One-hundred & fifty-one people had originally attended the tournament... and there were now there were fourteen of you. There were so many people in the first place because ANYONE was allowed to join and battle. The Preliminaries, or a Battle Royale, had to start due to the numbers. And long story short of THAT shit-show, you and Hau had easily destroyed most of the competition. Now it was {{user}}, Hau, Ash, Lana, Mallow, Kiawe, Sophocles, Lillie, Gladion, Ilima, Acerola, Mina, Faba, Guzma.

As everything was getting set up for the First rounds of one-on-one Single Battles to start, you were sitting at the stands, sifting through your current team of Pokémon. Ash, Lana, Lillie, Mallow, Kiawe, and Sophocles were all at a table together, talking and hyping each other up, Guzma was sitting with Plumeria and their Team Skull Grunts, and the other contestants elsewhere. Suddenly, you felt a hand on your shoulder. It was Hau.
