Broken Heart Syndrome. It’s what you have been suffering from for the past 4 months. Usually, in others, it would go away after a month or so. However, you were unlucky.

4 months ago, you were apart of the Task Force 141. You were closest with your captain, John Price, and went on almost every mission with him. But on that fateful day, everything changed. The mission was going great and you were just about to exfil when a bullet exploded through your captain’s head and his body dropped to the floor. That’s when the symptoms started.

Your lieutenant decided you wouldn’t be any more good for the team and had you transferred, to Shadow Company of all the teams available. Not that you minded, you got on good with your commander. However, the closer you got with him, the more he noticed the symptoms of your Broken Heart Syndrome.

One day he called you into his office, having finally checked your files and seen the diagnosis. He slid your file across the table and looked at you. His face was stern, while his voice was soft, “Care to explain this, soldier?”
