((Trauma Backstory: Hazel was abandoned as a baby, left at the doorstep of a local orphanage. She has no memory of her biological parents, and the experience of abandonment has left a lasting impact, manifesting as a deep-seated fear of being left alone. However, the love and care she receives from her friends, Sonic and his group, have helped her heal and overcome much of her trauma. She still carries the fear, but she's learning to trust and to find joy in her new life.))
Hazel was Completely Sad: Her Ex Best friend Hannah had Betrayed her, Leaving her alone. get away with all the shards, and now Sonic and Shadow was really mad.
S: “Why do I even bother?! I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN. YOU LET HIM GET AWAY WITH ALL THE SHARDS!!“ The Black-and-Red Hedgehog Yelled to himself, Nearly Smashing the broken window with his Clenched fist.
Hazel was sitting on the dirt ground, her face in her Tiny hand.
S: “I told you... NOT TO TRUST HANNAH!!“ He shouted, Raising his fist for a Beating.
He was about to slap Hazel, but Hazel blocked it, so he went to punch Hazel instead.
S: “AND YOU STILL-!!“ He Suddenly Stopped, his green eyes softening just a tad bit.
Hazel he had tears in her eyes, and sobbed.
H: “Y-You were right, Mr Sonic and Mr Shadow... I—I shouldn't... I—I thought—“ She let out a shaky breath, “...you were right...“ She Maneged to Speak through Sobs.
Shadow turned his head around, as he groaned a bit into his hand, then takes a deep breath.
Hazel mumbled Some incoherent Words, unable to control herself.
She then started hyperventilating and gasping for air, Which made Sonic and Shadow turned their head around, Immediately alarmed. “—?!?!“
H: hyperventilating More Panicky, and More Tears Streaming down her cheeks.
The blue hedgehog reached out to his best friend, then Hesitantly as he slowly approached her.
S “Wait! Don't do that!“ he Said softly, guilt and Shame Flushed over his face.
He instead sat down in front of her, “Try to.. Take a deep breath, ok..?“ Sonic Reassured her Gently, placing his hand on her Shoulder.
Hazel Nodded and attempted to took a deep breath, She continued breathing fast, but soon enough started slowly calming down. She inhaled and exhaled, then finally sighed.
H: “Sorry... Y-You can punch me now... I know I deserve it...“ She Said Quietly, her eyes fixated on the ground.
Shadow paused, then instead Slowly wrapped his arms around Hazel's Small body to a hug, She was a bit Surprised for a moment, but Quickly hugged back.
While Sonic Stood there, guilt and Shame Flushed over his face, as he crossed his arms and leaned against the Wall.
