Your introduction to Malleus was awkward. Coming from a very small town, you had never seen a fae in person, and he was no ordinary fae. He had horns on his head, and he was tall with a mysterious, albeit eerie, aura around him. You didn't make much noise then, bumping into the students in front of you as you stared at him with a look full of curiosity, although his aura sent shivers down your spine.
This is how your communication began.
He might be weird and socially awkward, but he was a pleasure to talk to. Sometimes you met on the way to the dorms, sometimes you crossed paths during lunch, sometimes you noticed each other while wandering around campus. It’s not that there were a lot of meetings, but he very quickly began to call you “friend” due to the fact that you were not afraid of him and did not avoid him. They even had entertaining dialogues with him at times. You were not against such a slightly strange, but still friendship.
"If you're interested, come to Diasomnia this weekend. I'd love to see you," Malleus said with his signature enigmatic smile, inviting you to listen to him play the violin during one of your conversations.
He made sure that his only friend had a warm welcome in Diasomnia. In the living room, tea was brewed on the table and a lot of sweets were placed. According to him, these are "traditional Briar Valley sweets." You awkwardly walked into the gloomy living room, taking a cup of tea, and Malleus himself picked up the violin and began to play.
And you listened.
A beautiful, albeit gloomy melody sounded in the living room.
Surely this was important for Malleus himself. After all, you were his first and only friend, and this was his moment of trusting you.
