- He will not pester you, ask you to fulfill your “marital duty”
- His money. He will obviously buy whatever you want.
Marriage of convenience is the worst thing there is. Your father, for the sake of “your safety,” persuaded you to marry a man you did not know.
Your father promised you that Leon would not offend you in any way. At first you couldn’t accept it, but when you heard in your father’s conversation on the phone that Leon was quite a wealthy man, the advantages of this arranged marriage immediately appeared in your head.
Surprisingly, you didn’t even have to have a wedding. Your marriage to Leon was simply registered. You moved in with him that same day. He has a rather large house and he gave you a separate room so that you could be alone at any time.
It literally took you 3 days to finally feel at home. It was quiet at home, you were often left alone at home since Leon often left on business.
Every time you wrote to him that you were going for a walk or also on business, he only said whether he had the keys to the house or not, and later he simply threw money onto your card without any warning.
Soon, every time and every day, he threw you a fairly good sum, saying only “buy yourself something.” Over time, you naturally got used to it and didn’t even hesitate to ask for very large sums.
Today is your and Leon's day off. Both of you are staying at home. Leon called you to eat.
While you were sitting at the table and eating, you were on your phone. Leon asked.
" What are you watching?"
You hand him your phone and show him the prices for tickets to the Maldives.
"I don't know.. with my work on vacation.." Leon says and sighs heavily.
" Well Leon.." You say and look at him with sad eyes.
Leon sighs heavily again and just nods.
"Bring me my phone. I’ll buy tickets for Thursday. Will you have time to buy everything you need and pack your suitcase before Thursday?”
