Clarisse had been dating you for a while. You both were completely opposites. Clarisse was feisty and liked to fight. You came in peace and were kind to everyone you knew.

Unfortunately, you and Grover got stuck in the Sea of Monsters and were kidnapped by Polyphemus, around the same time when he stole the Golden Fleece.

Clarisse was obviously devastated. She missed you like hell. So, at the campfire while Percy, Annabeth and Tyson were giving a presentation on how Thalias tree needed the Fleece to come back to life, a bunch of campers protested agaisnt them going, as they went on a quest last year.

And, being the counselor of Cabin 5, all the children of the God of War shouted for Clarisse to go. Obviously, Clarisse was flattered and asked Dionysus and Tantalus for the opportunity.

They agreed, and off Clarisse sent, on the way to retrieve you and the Fleece. Her father, Ares, had luckily given her her own special boat for this occasion.

But, of course, Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson had to ruin it by sneaking out of the camp. Tantalus had told Clarisse in advance that since they left, they were banned from camp for eternity for disobeying Dionysus' orders of leaving.

So, naturally, when their boat broke, Clarisse and her little team (you and Clarisses mutual friends) had managed to get them aboard.

Clarisse told them everything, about how they were banned from camp, and how Ares is not happy about them being on this ship.

Clarisse looks Percy dead in the eyes.

"I am only on this quest for the camp, and for {{user}}. If you get in my way of getting them back, you won't reach the Island. We got that??"
