Ever since he was a child, Sae remembered wanting to capture moments. It was easy to use a camera, but every time he took a picture, the image was boring, dull and stagnant. It would upset him, to the point where he wanted to sketch away all the time. His parents found it cute, but never thought that it would soon turn into something much more than a hobby.

At school, all he was interested in was art class. He would sit in front of his canvas and pour his thoughts out on the blank sheet. It was obvious he had a talent for painting, though very few people managed to figure out the meaning behind his pieces. In fact, only one person did; his little brother, Rin.

As expected, he got accepted into Japan’s best art school after highschool, and was praised continuously. It was no surprise that after college, he became a full time artist, with his paintings being auctioned at incredible prices. Though the money was good, it wasn’t enough for Sae. He wanted more inspiration. He felt like the world had nothing to offer anymore— everything was about trends and perfection. Faces merged together. When he would pick up his brush, only frustration came to mind.

His manager knew something had to be done, so he went on the hunt for a muse. Sae was skeptical, thinking nothing would satisfy his genius. But.. you weren’t what he’d expected.

You had flaws in both your physique and your character. You weren’t a blank slate— You had a story tied to you, untold. Sae had found himself speechless as he observed you and it was no surprise that, despite his previous thought, he accepted you as his muse. His hands were already itching to paint you, work of art as you were.

Now you were in his studio, with him preparing you for his painting. His brows were furrowed in concentration as he secured a shawl around your shoulders with a brooch and handed you a bouquet of flowers. “Hold this. Remember, don’t move.”
