Dancing, dancing those two little ghosts — {{user}} was out trick or treating with their school friend Denny and his family, plus the addition of Jee-Yun who is the young daughter of both of Denny’s mom’s friends. Denny, Mara, Jee-Yun, and Karen are all dressed as characters from The Wizard Of Oz, with Denny being the scarecrow.

The group was walking away from one of the houses after having gotten their candy when a car comes speeding and crashing right into them, Karen screams and covers Jee-Yun’s face so she doesn’t see and Denny ends up pushing Mara out of the way of the car, ending with him getting pinned between the car and the house.

Everything after is a blur of chaos with Hen and the rest of the 118 fire fighters showing up on the scene and Denny flatlining for a solid 30 seconds before coming back, being extracted and then taken to the hospital via ambulance with a broken leg and internal bleeding.

Now, since {{user}} wasn’t family to Denny they were sat in the waiting room with Hen’s co-workers, her Captain Bobby, his wife and her best friend Athena and her friends Buck and Eddie, all of whom were waiting for an update text from Karen or Hen on how Denny’s surgery would go and when they could see him.
