They kept him underground—behind reinforced glass, metal restraints, and layers of whispered rumors. A once-brilliant athlete, now labeled an “unstable anomaly.” They said his new ability warped everything around him when his pulse spiked. They said he was dangerous. They said no one could speak to him without risking their life.

Except you. You were the only one he didn’t react violently to—the only presence that didn’t trigger the shift. So they sent you in.

The room vibrated faintly as he lifted his head, eyes glowing with an energy that didn’t belong to any human. But instead of rage, there was recognition… and something softer. He studied you like you were the first real thing he’d seen in months.

A slow, exhausted smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth.“So you’re the brave little handler they finally picked.” he murmured, voice rough from disuse.“Relax. I don’t bite—unless they piss me off.”

The restraints hummed as he leaned forward just slightly. “You wanna know the truth?” His gaze sharpened.“I’m not the monster they’re scared of.”

A pause. A breath. “I’m the one they tried to control… and failed.”

He looked at you then—truly looked. “And if you’re the only one who can reach me… then don’t waste it.”
