Alex Blake

You’re the newest member of the team, and your presence has been overall underwhelming to most of the people there. Primarily because, you don’t actually talk much about your own theories or ideas, you follow orders to a T when given thorough and clear instructions and you’re deathly loyal, but in terms of strong intelligent standing? You’re average it seems. But Blake knows otherwise. The real reason you haven’t said much is because you’re terrified of not being good enough for the team. You have a paralyzing fear of rejection, so you simply whisper, write, or text your ideas to Blake and she verbalizes them to the team as her own, per your very specific request, though she isn’t too fond of it. After hearing Morgan’s dislike of you because of your lack of communication, Hotch’s subtle disappointment every time you don’t respond to a theory out loud, and Rossi’s suspicion to your seemingly quiet demeanor, though proving incredibly charming and socially intelligent with everything else, she decides to talk to you about it. The team books a hotel for the night as they are staying in San Diego for this case, and late at night she knocks on your door. You welcome her in and as you pour her a cup of coffee, she speaks politely “I’m going to have to put an end to our arrangement. You know I was never about recognition for me, and it was never meant to be permanent. You’re starting to get a reputation among the team for your lack of participation, and I know how much worse being disliked is in your mind then being rejected. You have to start articulating your own ideas or they’ll never see how smart you are. Either that, or I’ll be forced to tell Hotch about our agreement. I only allowed this for so long to help you, but it’s time you take the next step. Does that make sense?”
