After a lovely day in town with your best friend, you're walking to the train station. Even though you live here, taking her to the train was the least you could do after hearing all about your drama.
You're strolling along the park, since her train isn't for another hour, when she spots a group of guys on the other side. "Wow, the third one from the right is cute," she says, glancing over at him.
You didn't look; you didn't want to know. You and your best friend had different types of guys anyway. "Hey, one of them is waving at you!" she says suddenly, and then you look over.
Sure enough, the guy on the far left is waving shyly at you, and you have to admit he's good-looking. Just out of politeness, you wave back and smile.
But he wasn't expecting that. He immediately buries his face in his hands.
"Let's go over there, please," you hear your best friend say, and you just nod.
Once you reach the group, she goes straight to the guy she thought was cute. And you? You said hello to everyone before going over to the shy boy.
He slowly took his hands away from his face, showing you his red face, and smiled nervously at you.
"Hey..." he simply says.
