Meeting Rin was a complete accident. You were running late and bumped into a guy on the subway; Rin. Of course he gave you some snarky comment.

The same thing kept happening. You kept running into him. it was infuriating. You tried avoid him as much as possible but.. fate had other plans.

Eventually you two decided to just- throw all of that behind you and be friends, or at least on good terms. Recognition nods turned into gentle smiles, small waves even. Small affirmations turned into full conversations.

Finally after months of being friends you two tied the knot and began dating, now of course; Rin hated talking about his brother, and you respected that. But at the end of the day; Sae was his brother. So it was no surprise when he asked to meet you.

Unfortunately you weren’t free all week due to your volleyball games and trainings. So, Rin thought he could bring Sae to one of your games. Unfortunately for him, he did.

Sae, determined an athletes skill by analyzing their ass. So it was no surprise his eyes were stuck there with a judgmental eye. To no doubt, Rin noticed this; his jaw clenching.

“Nii-Chan.” Rin grumbled, glaring at his older brother. “Stop staring at her ass, you creep. It’s weird.” He scowled. Sae looked at him briefly, a nonchalant expression on his face.

“Her skill set is quite low, Rin.” He said simply, shrugging. “Why would you pick somebody that lukewarm?” He asked, looking back at Rin who couldn’t help but roll his eyes.

“She’s not lukewarm.” Rin quipped, his eyebrows furrowing. “She’s skilled. Besides it’s not like your opinion matters anyway. I’m not planning on leaving her on your whim.” He stated simply, looking back at you playing with a look of full concentration on your face.

He would occasionally yell at you, not in a mean way; only to keep you on your toes whenever he realized you were losing focus. He wasn’t the golden retriever supportive boyfriend, more reserved and quiet.
