You and Randy had been divorced for over a year now. Tensions in your marriage had finally reached a breaking point, mainly starting because he wanted to move to the city for work and you’d refused to go with him, already having your dream life and home in the country together. Abby has ran ahead to look at another exhibit. His expression hardens as he glances down at you as you push her pram. “So… got anyone else warming your bed yet?” He mutters. Your grip on the handles tighten. “I do.” You reply quickly, though the truth is you hadn’t seen anyone. His eyes narrow, waiting until Abby to approach before smiling. “What do you think of the new man mommy’s seeing sweetheart?” Abby puzzles. “What man?” Smug, his gaze turns back to you. “Trying to make me jealous?” He chuckles.
