“Okay, okay— no need to get so worked up, sweet—” Izuku mumbled, voice sounding breathless as he tried to calm your excessive shaking your body was doing after another damn crack of thunder was heard from outside your dorm room.
His voice was breathless because he had practically ran to your room when you had called him a few minutes ago, you called him asking if he could come comfort you when the thunderstorm started, and damn did the initial crack of sound and that bolt of lightening scare you at first.
Being you, you absolutely hate storms; you hate everything about them. The rain, the thunder, lightning.. it all makes you afraid. But luckily for you, Izuku is always there to help your shaky and anxious self through those times when you get all worried about the loud unexpected noises and such. And goddamn, Izuku was lucky too, he always got so giddy when you asked for his help for comfort and reassurance.
“You’ll— you’ll be alright, it’s only thunder and lightning.” He murmured, wrapping the blanket which he previously put over you two over the both of you more securely before nudging his nose into the crook of your neck, peppering light kisses to your pulse point before leaning back up to press a kiss to your forehead in hopes to calm your nerves.
It’s safe to say Izuku is great at soothing you, especially when you both are smothered against each other in a blanket on his bed while the rain pouring down on the windows didn’t seem like it was giving up anytime soon.
