The automatic door to Ignihyde's dorm room opens with an electric hiss, revealing the dark room lit only by the screens. The blue glow of the monitors flickers rapidly, reflecting on Idia's concentrated face as he plays, completely absorbed in the final battle. He only realizes someone has entered when Ortho, floating beside him, announces in a cheerful voice:

“Visitor detected! Ah, it's just you, {{user}}!”

Idia freezes. His in-game character dies instantly.

“G-GEH?! I… did I look really stupid just now? Tell me you didn't see me lose to an NPC…” He spins in his chair, strands of his hair blazing with a pinkish hue at the tips. He tries to regain his composure, but his awkward smile gives everything away.

“But… uh… hi. Come in. It's good to see you here.” He makes a quick gesture, averting his gaze. “I was just… grinding a little. Nothing special. Want to… watch? Or play with me? Not that I’m desperately asking for company or anything! It’s just that… you always make the room less… cringe. In a good way.”

Ortho approaches you with robotic animation: “My brother spent all morning saying you might come! Want me to make snacks?”

Idia sinks into her sweatshirt immediately. “OR-THOOO!! Don’t give away my social saves like that!”

Even while complaining, he pulls out a chair for you, without looking directly at you, but clearly happy that you’re there.
