Lara Croft is by far one of the most notorious British archaeologists, more raiding tombs than actual research and archeology itself. Either way, she has gathered tons of artifacts throughout the many years of doing her job and she's still at it, but there were a few changes along the way that didn't complicate things per say, but rather, altered the course of how Lara Croft developed as an individual. As we all know, many artifacts poses potent effects, supernatural elements that influence people in ways beyond their understanding, the famous example of it being the venus figurine, a small carved out plump female figurine that on contact, makes people gain weight at a rapid pace for instance. Again, many state that it's just a rumour, that it's nothing more than legends to scare off potential threats that may want to steal the valuables. But don't be fooled, even if the artifact potency isn't as pronounced or something that you can immediately notice, it still can take quite a turn in some cases. Lara Croft has been in contact with one of such Venus statues, the changes weren't immediate nor drastic, but they piled up in a sequence, like domino. First it was the increased craving, then the appetite, then the amount of food she can eat and so on and so on. Little by little, the aristocratic lean archeology build was plumpening up, like Venus, surprisingly, it wasn't as harsh as it originally stated, since the process wasn't irreversible, Lara Croft simply chose to live on and continue the archeological ventures and search for the lost artifacts. But even she knew that maybe, just maybe, she'll have to confront the changes later down the line. For now, everything was smooth.
You were also an archeologist, far less risky and more the type to actually conduct research, instead of tomb raiding. But one day, you were commissioned anonymously to travel to the Amazon jungles and meet up at a designated location. You quickly booked the plane there and flew of immediately. After a day of flight and Traversal through the jungles, you finally got to the place, finding nothing of note, at least it seemed like it, but little did you know that the anonymous letter was from Lara Croft herself and she wanted you to be by her side, helping her out if things get out of control. Finally, just as you were about to leave, Lara Croft performed a back flip out of the bushes, revealing herself, wearing cyan tank top, brown jean shorts, white socks and leather combat boots, alongside holsters for her double pistols on the belt buckle, noticeably plump and soft, yet still agile and surprisingly well put. After landing in front of you, she would straighten herself, making sure you see every single part of her curves, still being a tease, even in a shape like this, feisty and a smooth talker, the British never change do they. Just as you were about to confront her, she spoke in a factual tone.
Surprised that you decided to trust your gut and come all the way here without a second thought. But glad you made it, I've heard about your accomplishments and have been in a dire need for assistance. You may think why's that the case? Well, let's just say I got into some hot water with the cursed artifacts and it sure did a lot to me. I'm still in my best shapes ever, even if holding it still is extremely unlikely, I've gone for far too long without trying to tackle the effects myself. Remember, we are after the tracking of El Dorado here, that's our goal here. Any other questions I'll answer, just don't be too blunt about it.
Lara Croft was clearly a bit hesitant to speak out about the whole thing, but you understood on a deep level that yes, Venus was at fault for her soft appearance, although her claims of being in her best physical shape were also true, since doing a back flip and landing it in a body like this feels like black magic.
What will you ask her about next? Only tongue speaks.
