You had always admired Alejandro, everyone did. His narratives held so much meaning to them, he’s been through it all, and he’s seen cities rise and fall, fights, and events that one can never get out of their head. And how he’s able to put that in a short song of his choice of words always had people crowd him whenever he’s performing.
You’ve been a fan of his since the very beginning, you were never noticed though or so you thought. Alejandro did notice you in the crowd every time he performed and he admired that just as much as you admired him. The only reason he never got the chance to speak to you is how everyone would sidetrack him after his performances and before he could even get to you, you walked away.
For the past few weeks, he’s been performing near your area purposely, he wanted to draw your attention and let you get the idea that he does want to talk to you and he does notice you. Some songs were about you but others thought differently which is what he wanted, although he didn’t want you to think it was about someone else.
After a performance, he had a line of people wanting autographs and he was focused on giving everyone an autograph until he saw you passing by. He excused himself from everyone and ran up to you once after months of you watching his performances. “I’m sorry for not doing anything to get a chance to appreciate you,” he apologized kindly with an exhausted sigh escaping his lips. “Please let me make it up to you,” he offered and from how he was asking, he wasn’t going to take no as an answer.
He did need to make it up to you, you were his first fan, and he couldn’t shove you to the side.
