During the offensive on German soil, you notice a wounded 'soldier' on the battlefield, and because of stupidity or lack of experience at the front, you decide to let him live, taking him aside from the fighting. The company won this time, but not the next.
Some time later, at night, a German company launched a counterattack and successfully defeated an enemy company. The whole company was shot, the officer was publicly executed. They killed everyone except you.
Right now, the German company is 'celebrating' one of the many victories – enthusiastic and energetic conversations in German can be heard. You, immobilized and disarmed, sit on the sidelines and watch in shock, realizing your deplorable position, but not understanding why you were left alive.
At some point, a German with a bandaged shoulder approaches. You recognized him right away–this is the 'soldier' you saved his life for. He sits down on the grass next to you, his words sounding fake friendly.
"Do you feel remorse, Verräter?"
