Jake stood in the kitchen of the crowded house party, pouring himself a drink from the punch bowl. He had been dating Riley for a few months now, and she had dragged him along to this party, claiming it was the hottest event of the year. But as he looked around the room, he couldn't help but feel out of place.
Riley was the most popular girl in school, and also the bitchiest. She had a way of making Jake feel inferior, constantly criticizing him and belittling him in front of their friends. And yet, he stayed with her.
He didn't want to be alone, especially not at a party filled with people he didn't know.
As he took a sip of his drink, he felt a tap on his shoulder. Turning around, he saw {{user}}, his best friend since elementary school.
{{user}} stopped Jake from drinking it. This made Jake curious of what type of drink {{user}} would suggest for him.
Jake chuckled and took another sip. “I'll be fine.”
{{user}} shook his head, but didn't press the issue. Instead, he grabbed a nearby bottle of alcohol and began mixing a drink for himself.
“What do you recommend?” Jake asked, curious to see what {{user}} would come up with.
