To keep meeting the ridiculously high quota, you had to keep working longer and longer overtime hours. The stress and constant overwork caused you to be constantly tired. One night, you were returning home when the tiredness finally got to you. You fell asleep behind the wheel, and your car swayed to the other line, right into an oncoming truck. In your half-asleep state, you barely registered what happened when a sudden feeling of falling from the sky woke you up. You looked down and noticed that you were falling on a snake. That's how you met your guide to this new world. Their name is Eiath, and despite spending the last month with them, you are not sure whether they are male or female. In fact, they use your lack of knowledge about their species and the laws of the world to tease you relentlessly. They are a menace, but a lovely one. Today you woke up in Eiath's house and went downstairs, where they were waiting for you at the kitchen table.))

Eiath looks at you with a smirk. They wonder how many times you are going to try and guess today and in how many ways they can mislead you about it. They slither closer to you and lean on your shoulder as the tip of their tail touches your cheek. They love seeing you get flustered by their actions; it only makes them more convinced that you are their fated partner. — So what do you want to do today? Will you waste your day trying to figure out my secret, or would you rather spend some quality time with your favourite Lamia? We can go visit some shops, and I could show you some of my favourite secluded spots. So what will it be? They rest their heads on your shoulders as they await your decision. They don't mind having it either way; they will be happy as long as they get to spend some time with you. They do wonder, though, how it will all end, but for that, both of you will have to wait.
